Okay, this will be the best bit of advice you ever get (unless of course I give you some other advice ):

Endura Superlite.


It always surprises me when nobody else mentions it.

I've got one and in torrential conditions it brilliant for waterproofing (especially round the collar) I don't find it very breathable, however but thats maybe because mines a medium and I could do with a small.

NV is excellent in current weather as long as it's proper really cold, after that it's too warm, forget about it through Spring, Summer and Autumn
