Go back to bed and lie ear down on a nice warm pillow. Give it a days good bed rest being waited on hand and foot and you'll be fine :birthday:

If it's your left ear, tilt your head over towards your left shoulder and jump up and down on your left leg. Reverse the actions for your right ear.

A lovely feeling is that trickle :birthday:

I had something like that. It eventually turned out to be caused by excessive ear-wax. You may need your ears syringing. There's also stuff you can order off the internet called Swim Ear that can help.

I went swimming this morning, now I have that awful water in the ear thing going on. I have tried poking around in there, but remember an audiologst once telling me that you should not put anything in your ear that was smaller than your elbow.

So how do you lot deal with this annoying, and slightly deafening situation?
Hmmm. Tricky one. Left or Right ear?

Deffo Ear-wax related. You will need to apply olive oil before they will syringe it.

I normally have to get mine done once or twice a year despite using otex drops on a regular basis.

The water syringe I find is quite pleasant but the same cannot be said for the 1 time they had to use the air syringe ;)

Just poke a cotton bud in carefully; you will feel when it reaches your eardrum. It will soap up the water.

Having your ears syringed is one of life's great experiences. As others say, they won't do it unless you've softened the wax with a few days of drops or olive oil beforehand. You'll be shocked at what comes out!
