Water getting in rear axle.

Every time it rains hard water and gunk seems to get into my rear axle on the cassette side. I can hear the grit grinding the day after and I then spend the time stripping it down an re greasing. The seal seems to be fine. Any tips on preventing this (apart from not riding in the rain).

plenty of grease and then either a wee bit of grease or Vaseline when assembled just round the metal washer thingy that holds the balls in and generally around that area?

Finish line Teflon waterproof grease may help.

I have been putting loads of grease in but only normal Castrol stuff. Got a bit tub for not much money a while back. Good or bad?
