Was Tiagra 10-speed with hydro brakes ever a thing?

So the £220 shifters and callipers set arrived, and it's just one shifter and one calliper - don't know if it was a mistake in packing or a misleading advert (which definitely has a photo of and lists all the components of a two-shifter set), but between that and watching a video of a full hydro install I'm going to stick with the cable discs. Sometimes it's better the devil you know and I've fettled them a number of times so know how to set them up, just need to allocate an afternoon to refresh them a bit. Thanks for the help.

I think my set for both sides was £299

I upgraded my tcx to a mullet type set up from tiagra 10spd and trp spyres to 11spd 105 shifters 505s I think, ultegra long cage rear mech went single speed with 38 front and 11/46 rear with deore mtb calipers as they fitted the routing better and I think they were post mount. Worked brilliantly and it's done the reiver twice plus king Alfred's Way amongst others without issues. The only new bits I got were the calipers and front chainring everything else was off the bay of plenty.

What compressionless housing would you recommend, can you link to one?

I've been using Jagwire KEB-SL housing which works really well. It comes as part of the road pro set of brake cables which I'd recommend as it has specific end pieces for the shifters which you need to use.

Due to the forces involved in braking it can damage your shifters if they aren't used - I seem to recall @I like Skol had this issue.

I also needed to get a separate length of the housing and an inner for my rear brake as the housing for the front was too short for my bike so I used the rear section but once you have the kit you can get the housing separately easily enough.

Giant did a cable to hydraulic converter that went on the bars, don't think it was popular though as it took up bar room. Probably some on the bay of plenty going cheap.

I've got a 10-speed mechanical shift bike with mechanical disc brakes, and I'm looking to upgrade the brakes to hydraulic, after being really impressed with the hydro brakes on a Boardman hybrid.

Was there ever/can I still buy a 10-speed gear/brake set with hydraulic brakes? Would need brifters, brake pipes and brake calipers, I'm guessing I can keep the existing derailleurs as there's nothing wrong with them just yet.

The other option is to buy a new/used bike, which I'm trying to avoid if possible.

The mechanical discs were okay if set up optimally, but the braking power deteriorates really quickly once pads wear and/or discs get contaminated.

I have 10 speed Tiagra 4700 with hydraulic brakes, the shifters installed are Shimano RS505 , with RS785 calipers.
