Ok I haven't been on a bike in years so need a bit of a refresher . I was in the cycle lane approaching the lights below when they went onto stop , as I pulled up at the line I looked back 3 cars checking for indicators none had them on . My intention was to continue forward and as the lights changed I proceeded forward I was roughly halfway Into the junction and the car which was stopped at my side at the lights tried to pass me and do a left and as I stopped so she didn't run over my bike she turned on her indicator and called me a nob . As I see it I wasn't in the wrong here I was in front of her and she must have seen me correct me if I'm wrong

i really wouldn't take anything from any vehicle with out indicators on! all too often i see them either not used at all or switched on very briefly just as they start turning  personally i always stick my arm out
Cheers Ed

Not that it makes much difference, as the driver should have been indicating for your benefit anyway, but is the left traffic lane marked as left turn only? Or is it for left turn AND straight ahead?

I think I wouldn't be in the cycle lane there - I'd start off strongly in the middle of that left-hand lane and move over once I was almost past the junction.
This would have meant crossing the white line , I can see your point but prefer to obey the law with regard white line violations does that sound right ?
