A valid point,of course this does not negate my supplier, after reading your earlier post I did a little research and it seems this is not an uncommon problem with low mileage fulcrums. So it begs the question are the manufacturers and suppliers aware of the problem ? After all in certain circumstances, pulling out at road junction for instance, it could be catastrophic. I had no warning before it failed.
That's why i now ride Mavic and so does the other half.:okay:

Look for a precedent where Wiggle have sorted a similar issue? Presumably you've talked to someone senior in customer services? Or tried CAB? Or your credit card company?

You are right, it does let them of the hook, but it keeps me on the road. If anyone on here ask's for a recommendation for wheels i will always recommend Mavic's.
At the end of the day the manufactures are not bothered about one person, But through forums like this, when people read these post's it should put them of buying Fulcrum wheels.

I could fix it myself as well but that is not the point is it ? They tried to fob me off with an excuse about not being covered by manufacturers warranty. A lot of praise is heaped on this company a lot from within these pages, not as good as people like to think. 3 chances they have had had to sort this.

Contact CAB, or a legal service if you have cover through work employee assistance or similar

Or contact the manufacturer

After a number of emails they have agreed to replace or refund, however I have not had a satisfactory reply on the product being faulty and potentially dangerous and any action they are likely to take. Though on their website the fulcrum choice and stock seems to be rather small. Hmm.

Good result. Has put me off fulcrum wheels completely.
