Gloves are very individual. What suits one person may not the other. I have some Night Vision gloves that only come out when it's minus 5 or more. Otherwise it's some thin windproof Madison gloves I got from Decathlon for £14.

Do they help you see in dark lanes?

Carbon fibre... LMAO!!!
I've a pair of Terrahiker waterproof ski gloves I bought from Amazon for a tenner 6 years ago. They've never failed to keep my paws crispy warm.

I layer up; little 'magic' gloves cost bugger all and stretch to fit my big hands, then some 'silk' glove liners off ebay which were so cheap they're clearly not silk, and a pair of fleecy winter gloves on top

Planet X crab claw gloves are excellent.

Adding a thin liner to any glove makes a surprisingly big difference I use Decathlon thin running gloves.

Those are the ones I have used until now, also with a pair of winter running gloves as a liner. I have chemo induced peripheral neuropathy, so I need something decent. My colleague just got them on my recommendation and he's happy too.

I'm trying more expensive (£96) Ekoi heated gloves at the moment and been impressed the twice Ive commuted with them.

I tried Pogies for the first time today (without heated gloves)

Quote impressed with warmth, though it wasn't freezing, but a bit on the sweaty side

I have two pairs of Seal Skinz and love them, but they're far from universally popular.

Some kind of lobster gloves may help, and I found Breeze Blockers made a huge difference, although they're long out of production and difficult to find now.

+1 for Sealskinz. But the £3.99 from Aldi are pretty good.
