Warm bib tights : Recommendations please?

I've got Lusso Max Repel ones, they're very warm. and keep you fairly dry in light/moderate rain as the water tends to bead off...

I'll be back in shorts in a few weeks though. bring on the summer!

How are these cheap bibtights (dhb, lusso etc) for sizing? I got a pair of Polaris' in S for xmas but they're really baggy below the calf.
I don't want to spend much as I'm happy with shorts and legwarmers 99% of the time, but they need to fit!
I'm a bit weary of dhb as their arm warmers wouldn't stay up. Anyone tried Nalini's budget stuff?
