They used to put mustard on a greyhounds bum to make them run faster, You probably have some in the cupboard so would not cost you.:laugh::laugh:

I am considering not spending any money on my bike so as not to upgrade it. In particular I was thinking of not shelling out on some new wheels.

Can anyone help me? I haven't set a budget but would be looking to avoid parting with as much cash as possible, as there is nothing wrong with my current bike or its parts.

I'm determined also to ride my bike more and more to make me faster and make hills easier, so any advice not including "buy lighter wheels" would be great.

Thanks

Stu

You can halve the weight of your current wheels by simply removing the front one and wheelieing everywhere.

The upturned angle of the frame will also make you think you're always riding up hills so psychologically you'll feel like you've had a real workout after every ride.

You're in the wrong forum and I don't see you in a comedian's forum either. Sorry I can't help
