Ehm...if I say I don't believe the ref is on top form then how could I possibly swayed by an argument that depends on the decision making of the ref?? (shakes head). OK, OK, England weren't playing well, and I don't really want to do a (excuse my switching of sports) Arsene Wenger and blame everything else but the team...I like the Welsh team and have lots and lots of time for Welsh fans who are really proud but not generally aggro at all.

You can use the red button on the digi box to switch commentary, but to be honest I find Welsh commentary even more stomach churning than English, the best bit was when one of my children put 'Born to Run' on through the stereo system! It was great.

I was disapointed for Sackey, cos Shane Williams was'nt playing ,i thought he did show pace , and it would have been interesting to see the outcome of those two pitted against each other.

TBH he is a great player, truely amazing I mean, I have seen him play for Wasps quite a few times, he is usualy so physical he was like a bulldozer the way he tackled and was incredibly quick, aware and strong going forward. This season he has just not been himself at all, last week was the first time he showed any of his form at all, I hope he carries on like that and get's back to his old self. Great guy too.

Thought Byrne was very lucky to not get a binning, deserved it IMO.
England were stupid to keep ignoring what the referee was telling them. Are they really so stupid that they think the ref will allow them to keep killing/slowing the ball if they do it often enough? To use a Brian Moore expression: Halfwits. Plus......
Telling the media that they planned to "slow the Welsh ball down" and training with 14 men because they know they'll get players binned - that just tells the referee that the England have no respect for a referee's opinion. What did you expect him to do? Let you play the way you want because you think it's perfectly okay to keep competing for the ball when he's shouted 'Ruck! Hands off!'. Naive at best, almost, almost, unbelievably arrogant. I know which one my money's on.
As for the BBC.... The full 30 minutes post mortem was about how much England improved, or should have done this or that. One line about Wales from Jonathan Davies - "Actually, Wales did win." and that was it. Typical London bias from the Beeb, a bloody disgrace. Don't get me started on that cretin Inverdale.
My parting shot covers the game footage montage at the close of the show. "Tears of a clown, When no-one's around" with a long distace image of a lonely looking Martin Johnson. Absolutely unforgivable insult to one of the finest rugby players ever to grace the field. I once saw him stop and sign autographs and have his photo taken with Scarlets (Llanelli) and Leicester fans for a full ten minutes before entering the ground to captain his team in a Heineken Cup quarter final. The man does not deserve that kind of treatment.
I'm a proud Welshman, in case you were wondering.
