Well, what a game. Poor old England, how the mighty have fallen! However, fair play to them, they gave it their best shot. Well done to Wales, the boys were on form and fired up for this game!

Sat down to watch the game half expecting a valentines day massacre. Was pleasently supprised to see them compete and have a good go, major improvement on the Italy game. They just need to stop the errors and the sin binings and continue the improvement. Well done to both sides for a good game and well done to Wales for a good win.

The next time Wales are in a world cup final I am sure they will win.

Erm. Sorry they never made it that far:blush:

Whatever it was a good game and the best team won - just. Next season may see some changes.

Didn't see the game but from the reports I've read Wales justified the win, they really are on a good roll at the moment. It also seems that England are also improving and so let's hope that continues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So , played two won two , but encouraging as that must be I don't think Wales should get too carried away. They acknowledge that they had a very tough game , against what ? against an England side that had showed how crap it could be only seven days earlier.

England had a very limited game plan and executed it very well. Stop Wales getting quick ball at all costs. However, telling the media that's what you are planning............... A two score margin was comfortable in the end.

Martin Johnson should put the penalty offenders on toilet cleaning duty for a week. Giving so many penalties within 20 metres of their posts was like watching schoolboys!!

Wales played better, they deserved the win.

Definitely, from what I saw but I had to keep running in and out as I was playing with my youngest on the Wii.

I wasn't that happy with the Ref, I'll be entirely honest. England were being penalised very quickly for their wrong doings and I thought the first yellow was unfair, givn the lack of specific warning to Tindall and he was only just off his feet at the point of whistle. There were instances also when I would have given a yellow to Wales (high ball, barging Welsh player, clearly dangerous play and professional foul) when they got off scot free. Given that both sets of players play professional rugby week in, week out the disparity in penalties just didn't sit well with me.

However, you play to the Ref. and if England are to move forward from here, then they must cut down on their penalties, regardless. Without the two yellows (or indeed just one of them) there is every chance England could have been in contention. Converting the penalties into points is also a must when you get them in your favour as well and England aren't doing that either.

Wales generally cheat too much ? The ref was'nt on top form ?

England kept giving away penalty's cause they slowed the game down, did'nt Hear the ref telling them to roll away.
Martin Johnston said before the game he was going to slow it down, that gave the ref something to look for and he penalised them accordingly !
