Yes it does. Loch Inchmahome😉
The prefix Inch- denotes island. Inchmahome is the island.
Despite what wikipedia might tell you, Loch Inchmahome is a nonsense name. Lake St. Colmaig's Island? What?

Menteith is a weird one all round. To my knowledge it's the only freshwater body in Scotland that is described as being of something. Plenty of other geographical features are of something, but not lochs.

The Beeb recently moved operations from London to Manchester. Things (like wages) are cheaper up north. They've been subject to similar austerity measures to the welfare state in recent years... they have to cut costs, so in a word (or three), they can't afford a lot of things.
That wasn't the reason for moving some things north though was it? Lots of other good reasons for that partial shift.

Ill be glad when the licence fee is gone. I may even move my tv so its not visible from the front window and stop paying altogether. The licence stasi won't get through my front door.

I dont watch the Beeb, I don't listen to them, their supposed 'quality' output is no better than some of the excellent material from the likes of Channel 4, film4, netflix etc, so WTF am I forced to pay them money? Sooner non payment is decriminalised the better.

How do you know if you don’t watch it?

The Lake of Menteith was not a lake. It's a mistranslation by the Ordnance Survey of Laich of Menteith, a laich being a low boggy area, which in the Menteith example had a loch at its centre.

See also Atrieve Lake in Selkirkshire, which is not, and never has been, a loch, a lake, a mere, a tarn etc.

There are several 'Loch of ...' in Perthshire. Loch of Lowes, Loch of Butterstone etc.

just get rid of the telly then... you can watch Netflix on your laptop, and i don't think you need a Tv licence for 4OD or ITV catch up-servies.

I know they mean 'use either lane' but I'm always tempted to comply with the sign and slalom from one lane to the other or keep the nearside wheels in the left lane and the offside wheels in the right lane.
They mean use both lanes but they're addressing the traffic as a collective rather than drivers as individuals.

Or there's some weird quantum shoot going on and the choice of lane will be made at the point you interact* with someone else.

All traffic signs do that. But you still get penalised as an individual if you transgress.
