Total domination from Jumbo Visma. I wonder how they'll work out leadership now, especially if Kuss crashes or something?

I think they are settled on Kuss winning. Failing which, Roglic because Vingo looks tired from the Tour. He looked the most done in after today and both Kuss and Roglic halved his lead they allowed him to have very quickly.

It's good business for JV too - first American in ages winning a Grand Tour. Lots of potential sales of JV merch in the States.

Great win for Jumbo Visma, Primos and Jonas just ensuring that if anything happens to Sepp the team still win their 3rd Grand Tour of the year. Always expected Remco to blow just didn't expect it to be today or so badly, he is no doubt a good young rider and on any given day can compete with the best but I don't think he's quite there over 3 weeks and only time will tell if he ever will be.
I watch on Discovery plus and while the coverage is great the constant Remco love in by the commentators spoils it and IMO is extremely disrespectful to the other riders, can't wait to hear the excuses tomorrow.

Remco being brutally honest... when's he not 😁 Just had a sh1t day yesterday, know the feeling mate and so does Almeida. But on the plus side hopefully he gets his legs back and goes for it,stages that is.Nothing to lose now and can at least try and make it difficult for Jumbo, hopefully make some alliances with UAE and Movistar.I really don't want to put a damper on the race because it's still a fair way to Madrid but a 1,2,3 on the podium...well let's just say I'll be gutted.

If he was that honest he would have given an interview at the end of the race, he's quick enough even when he doesn't win the stage because he forgot that he was in the leading group but out sprinted and not the next morning.
The difference between him and Almeida was one gave in and one tried to keep in the race.

You're blocked ! 😁
Lot of expectations on his shoulders and I'd say he might of been a tad p1ssed off yesterday....
Remco today hold my beer...I'll have the KOM instead.
Duval obviously 😁

That's a weird take on what must have been a humiliating day for him. The last tbing he'd want was a public picking over the carcass by rabid journalists.
I sympathise with any sports person having to explain their failures in public immediately after the event. I remember several female tennis players being reduced to tears by the press.
fark them I say.

I'm sure it was a bad day for him, but he's quick to engage with the press even when he doesn't win and sometimes to the detriment of the winners.
I suppose it's not all down to him but as I have said I'm watching on Discovery and what I've noticed is that they can barely go 10 words without mentioning his name and personally it spoils the commentary IMO I want to hear about all the riders in the race not just one. As I have also said it is no doubt he is a very good young rider and on any given day he can compete with the best but he is not a great 3 week rider as past performances have shown, now he's relatively young 23 and he may improve but in my opinion has a long way to go to reach the likes of current riders like Vingegaard and Pogacar or a rider I often hear them comparing him to Merckx.
