...filthy weather in Spain with the riders well wrapped up apart from Josh Edmondsen doing a long pull on the front wearing a short sleeved jersey and no gloves, rain jacket, gilet or arm-warmers . Tough kid.

Not sure that it worked out for him in the end: he finished 2 and a half minutes down... probably should have paid attention to the locals.

Wiggins is already out - apparently he needs a 'training block' to prepare for his Classics targets. I just don't think his heart is really in this any more.

My club mate met him yesterday briefly in Mallorca. He was going up Sa Calobra and Brad was cruising down. He then had a brief exchange 20 minutes later. He said he saw Pete there too, i assume he meant Kennaugh.

Interesting move by Quintana there - the Movistar train was running out of riders so he dropped off and sat back in the pack, leaving Contador at the front. A sign that he's learning to ride more tactically?
