I've found a way to watch the Sleaford Mods by rewinding the live stream, but the sound is out of sync by about 5 seconds

Don't watch/listen to it, or don't go. Not entirely difficult.

The last festival I went to was Secret Garden Party. None of the music was particularly my thing, but the atmosphere was lovely and watching Orbital on the closing night, absolutely ripped to the tits on MDMA while they were shooting off fireworks was incredible. Tim Minchin earlier in the day while floating around a lake was cool too.

I enjoyed Noel Gallagher. He played some crowd favourites which is always a sensible option at a festival.
I’ve been looking forward to see Waterboys. But they are on the acoustic stage so I don’t think there will be any BBC coverage.
If anyone see any footage, let me know.

Nah, not one the stages they cover ... shame as often has great music on.

Not sure we're listening to the same artist. He's doing a decent job of compensating but it's pretty much gone. Nice bloke and very much a legend though.

Aye , indeed. However 80yr old he’s doing great . Still sings better than I ever could lol !!

He’s 80. Not 25 or even 64.
Show me any 80 year old who could do that.

He's doing very well for an 80 year old. You're completely right on that. His voice has pretty much completely gone through, and is rocking nothing. But a nice guy and a legend. I'm not having a pop, it's just what it is, listening objectively to his voice.

Let's wait a couple of years for the then 80-year old Mick Jagger and then compare and contrast - he's still very much at the peak of his powers, astonishingly. This isn't a new thing for Paul, I heard him a decade or so ago and his voice was struggling then.

He struggled at the Olympics Back in 2012.
He needed a few special guests to pick up the pace.
I’m probably giving him the benefit of the doubt.
