Any suggestions for cleaning up the wheels? Was thinking of a very fine wet and dry to remove the light rust

Used foil dipped in a vinegar and salt mix ... worked well , currently got saddle soaking in coke as springs hard to reach to cleanThought that was only any good on newer chrome.
