views on the spec of this bike?

am looking to upgrade from my trek hardtail to a full suspension

got a budget around 600 and was looking at this ebay listing---->

anybody recommend the kona brand ?

what do you lot think of the spec?

is it worth the money?

not sure of values so any help will be appreciated!

Looks good to me. I'm not a fan of Kona aesthetically but this one does look great in the pics. Maybe worth a punt. Suggest you contact the seller and offer him £750 on proviso of a satisfactory test ride?

Kona are highly rated, and the Hei Hei got reasonable but not outstanding reviews. I think they were built more for speed than comfort. The problem with aiming at a particular eBay auction item is that nowadays anyone that is wise holds their bid until the dying minute of the auction - so an item looks within your grasp but isn't. I would be surprised if this sells for much less than £800.
Correctly once an eBay auction has started the seller should not end the auction early unless this is clearly stated in the auction description - but as Stu suggested it may be worth trying to offer £750.

Try classified ads on here and other forums, in general you have a higher chance that the bike will have been well looked after by an enthusiast.
