I am so glad I have got into cycling, I am loving the endorphins it is giving me. Really helpful when things are going wrong in my life, which over the last year has been pretty tough, think I'd be a whole lot worse without it. That and the antidepressants which I have been taking for about 6 weeks. We had a family tragedy yesterday, and 12 weeks ago I would have been a mess. But I feel more levelled, and able to help & support those most closely involved. I am certain the cycling helps too, as it always clears my head and I feel great when I get home.

So pleased that the cycling is working for you. I love the endorphines too. Lovely flat Norfolk is a wonderful place to ride too.

So sorry you've had a family tradgedy. Well done on coping. I know all too well how hard it can be.

@Saluki I know compared to a lot of the UK Norfolk is very flat, but I went up Swanton Morley hill yesterday, short, but a killer, lol. Or else I need more training!!
That hill is allegedly a Cat. 3 climb. I hate it and try to go up it as little as possible. I used to live in Swanton Morley and didn't mind going down it but up it was bloody hard work, even when I was fitter.

I was just around the corner from it today, walking in Billingford.
