I use the MUVI clipped to my rucksack too.

It takes some getting used to, to make sure its pointing the right way. I rarely get it wrong now :becool:

I don't know if the helmet mount has become slack, or I've just become lazy at setting it, but I've had a lot of too high/too low videos. Not really bad, but just slightly off and it doesn't really make for as enjoyable viewing.

I've lost mine..... recharged it Friday night, missing....hmmmm....me thinks one of the elves has been playing with it, just like how 'bike' lights go missing - they apparently make good 'flashing emergency lights' for toy cars............

It's now £14.99 + £2.57 shipping
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/183959

Looks like the cheapo one I bought from ebay, not so good in low light as the Muvi.

 B******rds

I only got mine last week for £20 and still haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Did a couple of quick recordings and all is working ok, now I just need to get back on the bike

BTW. It did come with the silicon cover, belt clip, bike mount, wall mount, charger, lanard, velvet type bag and a velcro helmet strap.

The clips don't look the most secure, just clipping onto the 4 corners. I think I'll want to put a cable tie or black elastic band around it for extra security.

They're okay to start, but I've got a bit of blu-tack in there now too.

I use the little lanyard thing and tie that to my bag. So if the four clips ever fail... I wont lose it.

Ooo... careful. I fear an impending helmet degeneration but I'm going to write it anyway. If something catches that, there's a high chance of whiplash at the very least.

I wear the camera on a chest strap with the safety cord attached to my clothing.

Found it...........fell on floor under pc table.........

They are too easy to lose somewhere silly aren't they.

And another for attaching the lanyard around something, it's saved mine from jumping down the road a couple of times.

The ebuyer deal sounds better than the Hong Kong e bay sellers, I didn't get a cover and the power supply looked suspect, but the camera is fine in the day light, it's be interesting to see the footage redjedi!

Less so than with my old massive ATC2000

I'm kind of taking the attitude, that if it does get caught, the plastic is flimsy enough that it'll just snap off causing barely any resistance. I'm not too worried about it *touch wood*.

Got mine today, put in the micro SD card, touched a few buttons ... and nothing happened.

Plugged it into the mains ... no lights ... nothing.

Got out the mini-cd from the box, PC can't read the files!

Any suggestions?

Hmmm

What happens if you plug it to a PC via USB?

You should at least get the indicator light, light up. Red means charging.
