I have just counted - I have 10 Vangelis LPs, 3 Jon & Vangelis, 3 Aphrodite's Child.
And to lose him within a month of Klaus Schulze sailing off on the timewind....

Used on the original Cosmos TV show. Used to have the single, got me into Vangelis.

The China album was my favorite, just plug the headphones into the walkman ( not much traffic up in the highlands in 1980 ) and plod up the hills.

There's something about Jon's voice that makes it go particularly well with Vangelis' music.

I've never been a fan of Yes , despite them being brilliant at what they do, but I totally agree with you on that.
