The equivalent Welsh Valentines Day is St Dwynwen's Day held on 25th January.

As usual, we'll just have a nice meal at home. Her favourite is lamb, so that will be going in the slow cooker tomorrow morning. We have bought a card each. I bought her a large teddy bear (on offer in Asda)

Another event for waste and commercialism. We both agree that there is no need and will send each other a card at most. I'll probably cook a nice meal of her choice but we won't go out anywhere.

It's our anniversary next Friday so hopefully have a child free night if the grandparents will help out.

It'll be a card and flowers from me as my GF loves flowers. Then off to a Valentines ball for the evening with our Dance School associates. Where a slightly higher than normal standard of Dad dancing will be the order of the night. The only question is who gets to drive and who gets to drink. Apparently Valentines is all for the ladies so it will be me driving. ( She won't let me spend money on a Taxi grrrrr)

Mr Cookiemonster and myself are heading to Lamma Island in the south of Hong Kong for the weekend. Beach front hotel and a cracking bar/restaurant attached.
