Not really. I suppose that in theory you could cobble together something that might work but whether you should is a different question. The fact that you're asking suggests that maybe you shouldn't try! ;0) I wouldn't do it.

If you do go down the plate route, I'd advise against the one you've linked to - it's designed to bolt directly into specific frames under the Identiti brand.

This one will attach to normal stays via a bolt through the brake hole at the top of the plate and a couple of jubilee clips at the bottom near the bosses.

Alternatively, you could look for a local framebuilder to braze on a couple of bosses. This'll knacker your paintwork around the bosses, but if you're not too fussed about the cosmetics you can just spray some primer over it.

I don't see the point anyway. Decent caliper brakes should be more than capable and are simple to set up. If you need a long reach caliper, look at something like a Weinmann centre pull as centre pulls work very well in long reach format.
