Hi, hope you are well. I was wondering if the v brake toe is set correct. I used the rubber band method and placed it on the back side of the pad. Please see attached. Thanks.

Cannot see any rubber band. i use the small bit of cardboard method. E.g. a bit of cereal box about the size of a postage stamp. Insert this at the back of the pad so that the front of the pad is touching the wheel. This means the front of the pad will grab the rim first

Can't really see by your photo but if you had a thick rubber band around the back edge of the brake pads it should be ok, main reason for doing this is to keep the pads from screetching when braking.
I usually use a cable tie around the back edge of the pads when setting them.

Can't see from those pics how much toe-in there is.

Don't over think it too much and don't worry about the best method. Just try to get the rear of the pad a mm or so further away from the rim than the front.
I tried but i cant get it to work.

Cable tie, rubber band, piece of card. Anything that will allow for around 1mm toe-in will do. If you look online there is even a tool for it I believe.

I don't use any of those methods, just do it by observation.

At the end of the day if the brakes stop well and don't squeak it's ok.

Don't over think it!
Could i use a 1p coin?
