I tried but i cant get it to work.Can't see from those pics how much toe-in there is.
Don't over think it too much and don't worry about the best method. Just try to get the rear of the pad a mm or so further away from the rim than the front.
Could i use a 1p coin?Cable tie, rubber band, piece of card. Anything that will allow for around 1mm toe-in will do. If you look online there is even a tool for it I believe.
I don't use any of those methods, just do it by observation.
At the end of the day if the brakes stop well and don't squeak it's ok.

When i press the brakes lightly, the front and back of the brake pad touch the rim at the same time. Also, it still sqeakesAnd what is it that tells you it’s not set?
