Used Cervelo S1 - what's it worth

After a bit of advice if anyone can help....

Been offered a very lightly used 2008/09 Cervelo S1 - Aluminium frame with 3T carbon forks. Ultegra all round (incl wheels).

Bloke in questions reckons it was around £2,300 brand new and now wants £800 for it. Don't seem to come up that often on eBay so I've no real price comparison, although the new frameset seems to go for £850, so I'm guessing his price isn't too far out given the groupset etc.

Any views?

I've no experience of the values of Cervelo's, but from what your saying/being told it doesn't sound bad, however, if you could find another £150 you could buy a brand new Cannondale CAAD10 HERE for less than £1k

This is the lightest most advanced alu frame in the world, yes I'm biased, but it's also the truth

I reckon £800 is a good price. If it is in good nick.

I'd be paying a visit to the bank if it was me...
