Yes.
I was in an italian bike shop 4 or 5 years ago and they said that they no longer stocked them because of this.
Of course they could have had other reasons.
A bod on the bianchi stand at Spin a few years ago tried to convince me that the "owner" was effectively italian as he had italian parents or ate pasta every evening or whatever.
But anyone who knows owt about italy knows that they claim half the planet is italian - robert di niro etc etc .

May be useful for other folk considering an "upgrade"

We spoke about what it would entail.
I would need to change the wheels as the wheels I have are stand wheels ( that's what the shop told me and I don't have that much knowledge yet to say different ) so looking at getting the groupset, wheels then fitting at £180 ish I came to the decision to put it on hold. The group set with the bike is Sora.

£180 for fitting a groupset the most difficult thing is re-taping the handlebars.
