Unknown Tandem

Hi there all, just chancing my luck again in the hope someone can help identify my tandem, when I purchased it I was told that it was a 1937 sunbeam Royal "model u" with 70s gears and brakes, I've had many people telling me it's not, however as yet can't find anyone able to identify what it actually is, I would greatly appreciate any help, so thanks very much in advance.

There were many 1930s British tandems made with the same lugs, fittings and tubesets. Identical tandem frames were made into the 1950s. It is impossible to accurately identify most of them.

The Cyclo rear mech frame fitting matches a 1930-50s range but some folk specified Cyclo rear mechs for a decade or so later.
