@classic33 Has stabbed me with a pointy stick reminding me I am a lazy get & have not updated this thread, well the first update is there is no update, I have an issue with the tyre, I thought it was the tube, but each time I pump the tyre up the tube comes out the side of the tyre.
Could it be the wrong size tyre is fitted, although both the tyre & the wheel were new, is there a metric version or is this effectively the metric version as well.
This is on the rim itself if it makes any difference.
Just don't want to order the wrong tyre & have the same issue.

There are three 24” wheel sizes… ERTRO sizes 507, 520, and 540 (usual size on wheelchairs). But as your 507 tyre is too big for the rim I suspect it’s sloppy manufacturing. The sticker on the rim just tells you what it’s made of.
l too have a unicycle, gathering dust… every so often I get it out and try again but so far no joy. I think I managed two pedal revolutions once! Must try again.
