For some "unfathomable" reason, he was the only client, that was always referred to in the office by his initials and surname.
We used to use initials in our office as well, but not for Phil Dawes and Victoria Duncan.
 
My daughter went to junior school (or 'prep school', as they called themselves) with a girl named Portia
(most people thought of the fast VWs, not the Shakespear charactor)

It's a bit more complicated than that...
A German colleague came over to us on an exchange one year and we had to co-travel with him for six months. His name? Herwig Spazzwank.
Unlike this gentleman, to whom the only reference online is on this forum, this one's real.

O M Barstad was a McKinsey's consultant when he did some "work" with my company. What that actually meant was that we spent a very long day telling him stuff and he wrote it up in great detail and tiny print on a PowerPoint slide overnight while we went to the local Munich Bierkeller and got pissed. The following day - rinse and repeat.
