No, I think he had a bee in his bonnet about the standard of modern exams and how qualifieds couldn't do simple book-keeping.

I was actually impressed with myself that I could remember ledger postings!

I assume you are no newly qualified though...yup those studying at our place have no idea how it all works - computer systems or not, you need to know how it works.....

I'm hoping that my redundancy in September comes with at least a month of Garden Leave... that way I can go out on some lovely long, late summer rides... ahhh, that would be blissful!

hmmm, so far constant poor health due to stress.

A lack of money to buy nice things?

Ahhh, so many wonderful perks to being unemployed.

goddammit... just had some back pay paid in.. and then just had to settle a BT bill dated Dec 08.. (not for services used but for ending a contract early) but they had already passed this onto a debt collection agency and their nasty little ungrammatical letter dropped thru' the letter box this AM...so back to being skint yet again....
if anyone works for such places.. (personally I'd rather shovel shoot than be employed in that seedy , run by criminal element gloriously British way of treating people on their uppers) I hope you get a nice Valentine treat...to assuage your consciences!

you see ... unemployment does allow for a certain amount of time to rant! another perk....

I will never never never never did I say never..? have anymore dealings with !BT:angry: for the rest of my ...

it's quite catching... you see;)

BT, Barclays, Sky.....I have quite a long sh*t list, don't seem to struggle without any of them

it is indeed soooooooo peaceful not having a landline with which cold calling Callcentres can abuse one's tranquility :becool::wacko::becool:

many of those were getting quite clever to have their calls re routed internationally so as to avoid the telephone preference service......
peace and harmony
