Anyone done it before? Tough going?
[tries to avoid reading Seamab's posts .....]Seamab said:I've been considering this one but reckon the short (65m) route might be better. 130m is a tad too far for me although it doesn't look to be that hilly. The short route is much hillier by comparison.
I haven't done anything about it yet. After my last experience in Hawick, i'll leave it until nearer the time. It's a long way to travel plus B&B costs for potentially a ride in the rain. Once you've paid your money you feel duty bound to do it regardless of the weather.

Brahan said:http://www.theceilidhplace.com/ good place to stay. Plenty of music and many a tale to hear. Probably not too good if you have an aversion to late bedding with a belly full of booze though. I highly recommend a night here.
I managed some honey coated cornflakes - ghastly!Ensure B&B will feed you more than coco pops in the morning
3. Ensure rear mudgaurd that is fitted keeps your arse dry whilst maintaiing a steady stream of brown water into the face of your fellow riders
