BBC coverage is being shoot, taking interviews and punditry in preference to some of the racing - only B finals and early stages so far, but let's wait and see... aha! The red button has finally switched from simulcast to showing the racing that BBC two isn't. If they announced that, I missed it.

I listened to the R4 Today sports thing at 08:30 this morning. The interview with Katie Archibald briefly covered her great performances at the World Cup event before the interviewer swung round to his main interest - Shane Sutton! He then attempted to get her to give a quotable sound bite. Katie coped with it well but the interviewer was a complete piece of .... She deserves better than to be hauled out of her kip after an exhausting event to face this sort of stuff

We were there on Sunday for the finals. The Madison was particularly exciting—God knows who won.
