I didn't ask questions like this even when I was a newb.

Please advise what kind of bike you have and where you ride, and what qualities you would like in a tire. Its a tradeoff between longevity, grip, puncture and rolling resistance, cost etc.

My bikes have conti gatorskin for the commuter, schwalbe marathon supreme for super toughness, and magic aksions that came with my latest bike but I habengp4000 s2 ready to put on.

I'm using a carbon race style road bike with Shimano alloy rims all year round so was thinking a tyre with good wet grip for those wet/damp days and decent life/ puncher resistance .

Thanks

i'm surprised that - with all those bikes - at some cost too

you have been in the dark for so long about tyres

almost as bad as the ''where can i find yellow pedals..?.'' thread...............

Hi, I have a tyre related question, I have two road bikes, a Merida Race Lite which I use as my 2nd bike and a Cube Agree GTC.
The Merida which have 700x25c tyres I have no problems taking the tyres off without using tyre levers when I get a puncture but the Cube is a right nightmare, got Mavic Aksion tyres which are
700x23c. Would changing the tyres to 700x25c make them any easier to get on and off?
