Anybody got any good advice for tyres? I was riding Michelin Mud 2 tyres yesterday and it was like skating. They seem to be good on mud (hence the name) but round here we get more wet leaves than mud, cue me going ar$e over t1t me more times than I would have liked.

Thoughts anyone? If not then does anybody want to buy a cross bike? I'm sick of it!

Sorry to say but I think it's more a case of bike handling really. Stick with it and you'll get better (and faster). There are just some things that can't be solved by buying more stuff.

Never noticed any difference. Just observe, slow down, use your riding experience to avoid the off.

Used to be great when I was about 9 or 10. We all used to do rear brake turns on them. If you got it right you could do more than 360 degrees of turn. If you got it wrong it hurt, and so did the ear bashing when mum saw the state of your trousers!
