So guys, what's the conclusion here please?

I've got a tdf with stock 23mm tyres and 35mm sks bluemels mudguards fitted.....I find that I'm mostly on cycle tracks and have fitted a rack with a view to a bit of light touring.....if we have a summer!

What are the widest tyres I should theoretically get on this and presumably new tube please?

I've got a bit of a split in the front due to a snakebike from a pothole(ironically on a road, where I guess the tdf was intended to spend its life) and upon inspecting the rear tyre,I note there is a bit of a bulge in the sidewall...so I'm thinking perhaps it's time for a change.....disapointingly I don't feel as if I've done that many miles on these stock tyres....certainly less than 500.

Thanks

my mate got a tdf a few months ago and we had to change tyres ,the stock kendas were really bad for "p" (8 in two weeks !!) we fitted schwalbe lugano plus (not too expensive )and its been fine since ,hes not had one (same journey /road) so i would say change them
