I've done 1,277 miles on my Hybrid (Tioga City Slicker II's 700x38). They look fine still and I've never had any puncures with them.
I've done 1,575 miles on my Galaxy (Schwalbe Marathon 700x32). They look fine too, although I have had 2 punctures with them. One in the front tyre - double puncture due to hawthorn and one on the back I have no idea what caused it, I think the valve perished. Both punctures have been on country roads.
I think I'll probably get double the mileage I've already done and a bit more from the tyres on each bike. I always keep them pumped up to max PSI. I'm an average weight but I sometimes wonder how my Galaxy copes with my fat arse and fully loaded panniers but hey ho!
