Tyre size - will they fit?

Hi all, I did up an old bike a bit last year and put on Schwalbe silento tyres size 26" x 1.75

I picked up a new to me bike today and the tyres are 26" x 2.10 on there at the moment (MTB came with the bike).

I am wondering if I could swap over to the silento's or if there is too much of a difference? Should I be looking for a rim size?

I am going to retire the old jalopy bike to the scrap yard in the sky (sad but true), so am thinking of taking off the tyres and tubes beforehand then pop them on in the spring next year - just use the MtB tyres till then.

Yes slick 26 MTB tyres will fit on your new MTB rim.
Spare wheels are also useful.

Great thanks! Would have been a shame to throw them.
The rims of the old bike are really bad for rust (front more than back admittedly so not really good spares. I've been rubbing them down to minimise it. lol
