I've got the Scwalbe land cruisers on my hybrid, bought them last year as I wanted something a little more capable for riding on the canal towpath, They have coped excellently and only struggle when it gets really muddy. On the road, I can't say I've noticed much difference between them and the road tyres. I would definatly buy again.

You're all over the place on this. One minute you're looking at £13 each and the next you're on about stuff at £80 a pair! Do you go into Tesco looking for a 'value' meal and come out with a 'finest' one? Unless you talking about a pair.
