Hi Ive dusted down my Giant road bike last used in Oct in preference for my hybrid over winter months, now have no idea what pressure to pump the road tyres too. ahhhhh, will it be about 90 as im off on a 30mile early morning ride. Im sure my specialized hybrid is 75 but remember being told that the road bikes are harder and more so for a race, but ive tended to let my nice friendly bike shop man do it for me!!!
Many Thanks in advance:smile:

Usually actually gives you minimum and maximum on the side of the tyre if you look closely. Depending on the size of tyre 90 sounds a reasonable pressure though.

I'm replying to this because if I had a tyre on my bike where the recommended pressure had rubbed off I would not be riding that tyre, are you sure? Even on a worn out tyre I can still read what is on the sidewall. Anyway it isn't the make of bike that is important it is the make of tyre coupled with the type of riding you are doing, most tyres on a road bike will take 120 psi or more.
