i run my at 110 each and had only one or two punctures in 2000 miles and ive done 100 milers so they alright

each to their own though

i got 23's for mine as thats what the other tyres were that came with it. ill keep an eye out for bits of metal lol

A bit of advice mate.
Get into the habit of checking your tyres after every ride.
Dig out any little bit of stone, glass and crap that is sticking in/on the rubber.
If you leave it crap does work it's way in to the tyre. This is especially true after a wet ride.

It is a pain to check, but get in to the habit and it soon become second nature.
You will save your self a lot of grief and hassle and your tyres will last much longer.

60psi is actually pretty soft, but it is about the max you can manage with a hand pump. You need a track pump to get them up to a decent pressure - especially as you are not of polka dot jersey build. :rolleyes:

My hand pump gets me to 110! Getting a Joe Blow soon though :biggrin:
