Agree with kyuss. I generally use the Crank Bros. speed lever which works fine on 80% of tyres, but that last 20% needs a little more brute force, and the Soma levers are the mutts nuts.

I use the yellow Mitchelin ones after seeing a good recomendation for them. I was a bit concerned how flimsy they looked, but just a few days ago used them to fit my new Swhalbe Marathon Plus which where a nightmare to fit because they were such a tight fit, but know matter how much leverage I applied, they only bent and I could not break them even after I could not apply any more leverage due to them bending. Only problem with them is they do not have hooks to fasten to the spokes.

The Park Tools tyre levers are available at Evans as I have a set of them as well but never used them yet.

I use metal ones. They are OK. Go to a pound shop and you'll be able to buy a puncture outfit plus two tyre levers and a spanner for £1. Throw the spanner away. Everything else is usable.

looks good as it's thick where it's most likely to snap.

I still managed to snap mine ;)
