I had the same problem! In the end, I decided to get them for the hybrid, as that's what I use for commuting.

Hehe... Ah yes, but there's obviously a difference between commuting "in the winter" and "in the snow" isn't there? Maybe you need another bike?

I always say when I start talking about buying studded tyres that would be a good time to go out and buy them. At the moment I am considering buying them, but not yet as things are marginal for the moment. So consider this as an amber alert. However, if you are in Scotland, expect wintry showers on Wednesday.

The snow stud has Kevlar protection in the tyre.

thankyou,now im very interested,currently on vittoria randoneurs,done 3000+ without the fairy but last winter they were shocking on icy patches.
