the man with the van knocked on my door with a large box from Wiggle for me, My Eastway had joined my stable. Since then we've covered 2400 miles together and had a few adventures.I started out experimenting with gearing, I started of with 46/38 on the front, after a few months I changed it to 44/38 and now I'm running 50/42. I had some fun and games getting mudguards on it, the rain blades I originally brought wouldn't fit and I ended up fitting a pair of mudguards for one of the giant bikes. Last year whilst experimenting with gearing I had a couple of instances of chain suck, probably pilot error, me leaving it to late before I dropped of the outer ring, one instance brought about a tarmac kissing episode, more embarrassing than painful. This year I've had a couple of broken spokes on the back wheel, which have been well sorted out by the LBS and I have had to strip, clean and regrease the headset and bottom bracket. Over all I'm pleased with it, it goes well, rides nicely and I've had fun riding it.
