I've done spin classes before but have recently got a turbo for home use. The Tacx DVD is OK but a spin workout to music suits me better.

Oh dear i must be old !!!!!

Out of the list you put i have only heard of 4 of the artists and would never listen to any of them ,, i will stick to (as Al bundy would say) the "Oldie channel"

You can get from Chainreaction Cylces and others online DVD of Tour of Flanders , Lombardy Tour etc for around £30 or go on Flea bay and under Turbo trainers they sell dodgy copies for around £12 or do the real cheapskate (there must be others who have done it as well) get a camcorder and drive around your fav rides at around 25mph and record it and play back when your on the trainer.

I find with dance type music you've probably heard the track, you don't have to know the artist. I'm 38 so remember back to the first days of techno. Pump Up The Volume by M.A.R.R.S anybody?

Podrunner do free to download/play hour long mixes categorized by bpm. They go from slow up to 180 bpm which should give you a cadence of about 90 if you are in time with the music so plenty of speed choices. Not the best of music but it's all got a decent beat to pedal along to.

ill try out mucsic but i thought just a video of cycling would take my mind of endless pedal pushing, only just got the turbo so will try these things out. i also got a tablet comp so can fix that up wirelesely and watch the man who cycled the world, see how it goes
