My really bad attempt. But it gives the jist of what I'm thinking of.

look what berty bassett jnr has just done !

That’s great!

Perhaps have the right leg of the R drop earlier from the circle? So it’s less attached to circle as if rider is raising head a little

Yeah. And maybe if the font was more rounded rather than having sharp edges it might look more figure like.

Great effort though Berty!

is everybody happy with vrcc ? sounds good to me
i am not familiar with this cc thing , the club near me that started small and got slightly bigger had to register their name cos of cc and i think they had to have things like chairman and things like that - have we got to go down that route ?

I don’t know. I think it gets more complicated if we want to register as a club with British cycling. But I don’t see why we can’t call ourselves a cycling club. Kip will be the man in the know I reckon

I think we’re more likely to get arrested for crimes against fashion!

As far as I know, there is no need to affiliate to BC unless you want to race as a club. For entry into sportives etc.. we can just do that under the guise of a social group and use whatever name we decide to give ourselves. There is no requirement to have cc, but it is established as the go to internet name domain suffix for cycle clubs, however Vr.cc is already registered.

We can call ourselves whatever we like and enter into sportives, but we can’t race as Vr.cc unless we affiliate to BC and we cant buy the Vr.cc domain name.

PS Affiliation to BC requires setting up policies, appointing a secretary, potentially charging people to join etc..
