last 2 are the same ? i am up for any - though to me the first looks best on first glance - not too bothered about riding about in bath as it was busy and i didnt know where i was going ( only guessing over the bridge means through bath )

I think you all should be ok. Riding in sidewind when you haven't got the whole road at your disposal is like riding in head wind. Roads are closed at ToC, and you can take advantage of that. Like this:

It wasn't too bad in the pack apart from the youngsters surges on the front. In the cross winds it was awful, sapping speed and energy
