Unless you have a problem like the_mikey's ...!

I always try to make sure I know what caused a tyre to go down, to make sure it doesn't happen again.

(Hopefully it was just a bad batch of tubes. A mate bought a box of Specialized tubes once and all of them had faulty seams which leaked.)
