For my sins I live in Warrington (maybe that's where I have gone wrong!)

I am after a long sleeved jersey- medium weight material....with pockets at the back and thought I would get one for perhaps £25-35ish.
I don't really want to buy on-line (fit will almost certainly be wrong-perhaps due to a strange bulge that my wife tells me is my stomach).
  • Halfords dont stock them (apologised but say they have no call for them-even though by coincidence there was another guy asking for exactly the same thing).
  • Decathlon had just one in-size XXL and tell me they are discontinued)
  • Go-Outdoors don't have any in Warrington.........nearest branch with any is 72 miles away.
  • Sports Direct dont have any (in either of the 2 branches)
My LBS has some nice ones but £65 upwards:eek:.
I'm sure Evans or Edinburgh Cycles etc have them but the nearest store is Manchester or Liverpool (best part of 20 miles).
As I say "how difficult could it be!!!!!!!!!)

Hmm maybe best bet is online. Go to your lbs get your size and buy online. It shouldn't be any different to What you wear currently.

Best part of 20 miles you say, seems like a nice excuse for a ride. My preferred suppliers are Impsport, I think the UK team did or still does think the same.

You mean.....go online to choose the style that I (think) I want then get the local store to bring some in ? Good idea-I will try that if other avenues fail.
Thanks

I know you said you don't want to buy on line but I find these people http://www.cycle-clothing.co.uk/Ranges/6/cycle-cycling-wear/jerseys.aspx Quality is good and I find the fit to be as you'd expect from the size quoted, they do give a size guide
That's a good site!
Most of the better value items are "out of stock" in medium but they do have some in stock that I like the look of.
Thanks
