I have recently purchased the cannondale synapse disc and although i havent riddden yet ( its for xmas) i am already looking at whether to purchase the above disc brake units

Has anybody used them and if so what do you think of them over standard cable disc brakes???

Thanks

Are they expensive and unnecessary? If so they presumably tick all your boxes!!

I have them and can definitely recommend them over the Shimano cable road disk brakes. Setup was a breeze and they give great, modulated stopping .

Looked at them myself, although i am not sure i can justify the cost.

Didnt think £100 was that bad for hydraulic cylinders.......will think about it over next few weeks

But £200 for the pair, or 20% of what the bike cost.

For me, then add the wheels and ive blown £1500+, and i can get a 2015 supersix evo 105 for less than that.
