Trivial things that make you annoyed beyond expectations?

You don't seem to have considered that the person in question might have severe hearing problems!
Good point - in some cases this may be true - hence my lack of annoyed responses to them
and also why I slow down so much

However - not allof them - and based on how the people with them react and speak to them it doesn't seem to be a universal truth.

and if they can;t hear a loud bell from 10m away how can they hear a polite 'excuse me' from 3 m away??

anyway - as I said - sometimes yes - often no not likely

I had walkers on the Rochdale canal towpath complain that I was calling out and said it would me more polite to use a bell. I got a bell and then had people saying that they couldn't hear the bell, I should give them a shout!

I encountered one family where the man grabbed his partner and yanked her out of the way to 'safety'! This was despite the fact that I was barely exceeding walking pace.

Another man shouted at his partner to "watch out for the cyclist" while completely ignoring their young children who were randomly running out in front of me and other riders...

This comes under the category of "if I had a quid for every that has happened to me"

especially annoying when the paths is quite wide and I am going at 5-6 mph (ebike - hence I have a speedo)

I wish you would all come and cycle round here. Route 5 is nearby and we often walk on it. The number of cyclists who offer ANY audible warning, apart from tyre noise, is pitifully small.

We have a nice loud Dutch ding-dong bell on our tandem (don’t care about weight on a tandem) , which often gets a smile, but is still sometimes ignored because it doesn’t sound like a bike 🙄

Loose and uncontrolled children and dogs are the biggest hazard for us

In that case Access is the entitled Adult that expects to be treated as a fully qualified IT Consultant based on a 1 year course in IT and the creation a 3 web sites
but has no knowledge of how real systems work

And Powerpoint is the very creative person who would love to create a colourful creative and artistic tableau but has to be reigned in to remember that there is a purpose to what we are doing and a bright Orange background with Purple writing might not be the best way to acheive it

I won;t start on Publisher

Blue vs green when it comes to crisps. Sea brooks uses blue for salt and vinegar where as walkers uses green. Always pick the wrong colour first!
Walkers are the only company to get it wrong.
Although they seem to have red for ready salted correct.

I find it annoying when people say stuff like 'won't be a minute' then take what seems like ages. For example, yesterday i went into a pie and cake shop and asked for a spud pie with mushy peas. "I'll only be a minute warming it up" he said, yet he took a whole 7 minutes! Then later i went to a neighbour's flat for a chin wag. She mentioned about a pair of sunglasses she said i might like. "I'll just go and get them" she said. A whole 10 minutes later she turned up with the things 🧐
