It can be annoying leaving feedback after every transaction though. I buy a lot but nearly all from large companies who may have 100k transactions. If I know it's a lone wolf selling a t-shirt then I'll leave feedback

I’m not looking for a gushing paragraph, just a thumbs up emoji will do so that my feedback number goes up. My average is little more than one sale per year.

I think it’s just good manners to leave feedback for someone who’s already left it for you.

My excuse is, I always read my emails on my phone. So to leave feedback I have to click the email link, which then opens a browser, which I'm not signed into, so I have to go in via the app, and there is a minimum character limit of 12 iirc. It's all too much fuss. BUT if I buy something from an individual, I'll leave feedback. Especially if they've taken the time to package it properly etc

Tesco had christmasy treats on the shelf late August early Sept, so these Heretics are a bit late! I was in some store the other day , Christmas , Halloween and Easter all in the same aisle, usual suspects , mince pies, tinned sweets( christmas & Halloween ), and believe it or not HOT CROSS BUNS ! Pus the usual ephemera of the seasonal goods., ...I say tinned i really mean plastic tubs.

Excellent.

Hot cross buns on sale. BEFORE Halloween, even before Christmas, is EXCELLENT !!!!!!
They don't have a public holiday for my birthday, 26th Feb ,thanks for asking, why the feck have all 3 festivals on at the same time!

I didn't think to check the sell by date, that would be telling, if dated mid summer '25.

Cheffy pies in Pubs !
A pie isn't a pie, unless it's got a pastry bottom as well as a top, a "pie" served in dish with a square of pastry on top, isn't a pie ,it's a casserole with bit of pastry.

Is a pie with a bottom and no top still a pie?
Lots of sweet pies often only have a base and sides but no top.
And a lattice pie only has a partial top covering.
It’s all so complicated.

A pie with out a top is a quiche , tart or a flan, a pie encases the contents of the filling.
A pork pie isn't a pork pie with out a top and all encompassing case.
Back in the mediaevals' the case wasn't meant to be edible, but thrown away.
You can have an apple pie or a apple tart,, but it's neither if it's just in a dish with a pastry top

There I was this afternoon entering a pub, complete with walking stick in my left hand, dog on a lead on my right hand when a group of young people were leaving the place. I held the door open for them as I entered the pub, expecting one of them to grab the door, allowing me to let it go but no they all walked through while I held it open, like I was paid to do it or something. When I say all, there was a straggler with the group who made a dart for the being held open by me door. I suddenly let the door go and walked away, leaving him to open it himself. I'm annoyed with myself as I should've let it go while this group were half out, half in the pub. Not only that, but not one of them thanked me!!

Some people are like that

Some people are not

people vary and some are rude or idiots or just their mind is somewhere else

At times it just annoys me - other time I just ignore it

That's just how it is

if I am driving somewhere with my wife and someone does something dumb/rude/dangerous then we have got into the habit of making a silly comment - which tends to dissipate the stress
sometimes anyway

What is it with this current fashion for metal zips all of a sudden? They catch & snag, and won't run smoothly, and I can't even see that they're cheaper than plastic when each tooth has to be sewn on separately.
